VNet and our Southwest Airlines Concourse 0 project team at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) coordinated support for Honor Flight Southland to welcome home a plane full of World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veterans.
makes arrangements to take veterans to Washington, D.C., allowing them to reflect on the memorials that honor their service. When the flight returns, the veterans are provided a proper welcome home, as most did not experience this when they returned home from war decades ago. A full color guard, a drummer, bagpipe players and a large, enthusiastic crowd greeted the veterans as they returned to LAX.
