51吃瓜 was awarded the prestigious 2013 Ruby Level John L. Martin Partnered Project of the Year Award for its Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital Renovation project in Salinas, California. Each year, the recognizes projects that best exemplify the principals of partnering and promote the organization鈥檚 mission – to create a culture of partnership. The awards also provide聽an opportunity for successful teams to celebrate their success, share lessons learned and best practices, and to acknowledge the collaborative efforts of teams who achieve extraordinary results.
The Salinas project included a full-scale structural seismic retrofit of the existing hospital while it remained fully operational. The work included major renovations and relocation of departments聽 within the hospital, construction of new shear walls, and the demolition of existing facilities to allow for a future expansion.
